Green Acres Pet Center is the only AAHA Accredited veterinary hospital in South Central Idaho!
What Does AAHA Mean?
Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits practices in the United States and Canada. Only about 15% of all veterinary hospitals are accredited by AAHA, and we are proud to say we are one of them!
Accreditation Matters to You and Your Pet
The AAHA Standards of care address over 900 standards of veterinary excellence. This includes:
- Patient Care
- Pain management
- Surgery
- Pharmacy
- Laboratory
- Exam facilities
- Medical records
- Cleanliness
- Emergency services
- Dental Care
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Anesthesiology
- Continuing Education
These standards of care are continuously reviewed and updated to ensure accredited practices stay on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence.
Here at Green Acres Pet Center, we voluntarily and eagerly embrace AAHA accreditation standards to ensure the best client and patient care experience.
